Alphonso Thompson "Mo Jr."

Describe your character ?

I play Mo Jr who is the son of the mob boss Mo Brown. Jr Is getting his first chance to hang out with his family for the summer in Oakland, Ca. Because he was raised in a wealthy suburb he has only stories of what he view's as a glamorous life in the inner city. Mo Jr. Is very excited to experience his first taste of freedom, But is not aware of the dangers that await him.


What does this project mean to you ?

The project is important to me because I saw an opportunity to bring to light what is really going on in Oakland,Ca In hopes to bring about a change for the better, Also, It's important to showcase the talent that permeates throughout the bay area that seldom gets exposed.

What are your film goals ?

I hope to continue to pursue my acting career and explore script writing and directing.

I am a political activist, humanitarian, through the artistry of hip-hop. i seek to change the game and bring about conscious awareness, educate the masses while keeping it real.
